Coins can be
considered as the basic units of money. Coins are all around us. Coins are
needed for small items, such as drinks, paper, sweets, snacks, and bus or
train fares. Coins are used to pay for rides and small items at shows,
fairs, fetes etc. If bank notes are used, coins are given back as change.
Today’s
children are lacking the skill of handling money as they are not subjected
to the constant
influences of money movement. The transactions are done by
credit cards, cheques, directly by Bpay etc. Today’s children have to be
thought the concept of money and the value of coins and
notes.
