This is a very comprehensive workbook to
introduce and reinforce the concept of telling
time. Both digital and analogue times are
being addressed, as both the digital and
analogue clocks are used in real life situations.
The activities are organised in step to step
sequential order so the students will master
the basic concepts and skills of telling time on
either clock.

Some of the activities encourage the student to look at the position of the hands, especially the big hand, at a start of
an activity, then take notice of the position of the hand at the end of the activity, and count (in fives) the minutes between the two positions, finding the minutes past (how long did the activity take). The student will grasp the concept of duration, the time lapsed or time ahead.

The students learn to relate time on an analogue clock to time on a digital clock. 15 worksheets are allocated to applications to real life situations and to problem solving.
