- Focus on Money is a practical teacher's resource book of reproducible worksheets designed to support basic mathematical concepts of the base 10 system and
its application to our monetary system.
The
activities are designed for students to count, order and represent two digit numbers and groups of objects up to 100. Students will learn that numbers
can be represented using groups of 10 and that counting large numbers by bundling works better than counting by ones. The concept
of counting by grouping and bundling is used to reinforce the understanding that money, like other sets of objects, is represented by
groups of 10. The activities focus on:
