Let's Start to Read and Write  (contains 61 worksheets)

“Let’s Read and Write” promotes acquisition of phonemic awareness, skills to make possible to see and understand connections between the sounds and their visual representations and learn ways of using these connections to decode unfamiliar text when reading. Students will be able to make generalization between ‘letter – sound’ relationships as an aid for writing.

The worksheets in “Let’s Read and Write”
provide a variety of activities covering the
English alphabet from “a to z” and all the
sounds the letters represent. Some of the
activities include:

·         Discriminating and joining or colouring
the same letters

·         Sorting or joining words according to
beginning letters

·         Getting familiar with upper case letters

·         Filling in the correct beginning letters

·         Cut and match pictures with words

·         Simple word search

·         Joining the words with the pictures and
beginning letters

·         All words used in the worksheets have 
a matching picture
