The concept of Money  is a practical teachers’ resource book of reproducible worksheets to support the mathematical concept of
the base 10 system and its application to our monetary
system. The  activities take students through easy
steps to learn and get confident in handling money.

The book offers plenty of opportunities to learn,
practice and reinforce the various strategies to
count out money. Students learn to recognise,
count and order money by grouping, counting on by one,
by two, five and ten. They will gain the understanding
that money could be represented
by groups of 10. Money is an important living skill.
We all have to pay for goods and services and we all
get paid. The worksheets are arranged in sequential
progression from very basic skills of counting $10 and $1 in the range from $1 to $25 to gradually count notes and coins up to $120.
